Episode 1.1 –  A staring contest between a visiting Grey Squirrel and Spencer the Cat. This squirrel visits once a day, and sits in plain view and has a staring contest with Spencer the Cat. These episodes can last up to fifteen minutes. In the fall all the berries and nuts from my garden “Mysteriously” disappear. I have my suspicions as to the culprit.

Angel of Death begins Crowd Funding

Angel of Death begins Crowd Funding

After the great experience on Cinecoup, our project did not make it to the end, but that is not the end for Angel of Death. We have started our crowd funding campaign. Our project has now launched on Indiegogo. If you like our concept, and would like to help us along in our funding campaign, we would love your support. For the price of a movie ticket, you can help put a BC Film Crew to work. Our industry has taken a terrible hit from our provincial government, and there are a lot of out-of-work media professionals here. How important is Read more »

Pacing

Pacing

Hi All, Our subject today is pacing. Take your hands and clap them together. Clap slower….good…now faster….good. You’ve just adjusted your pace. Think of each clap as a cut in your video. What’s pacing got to do with anything? The pace at which images come to us can directly affect how the scene flows. Let’s set a couple of scenes, each of them 10 seconds long: Scene One – :10 Imagine a romantic kiss at sunset. We hear the flowing music, the red sunset rims out their features in gold, the man leans toward the woman, the shape of their Read more »
