Synopsis of The Rebel – Lies of Lesser Gods Book Two

Gralyre has joined the Rebel cause, but still suffers the slings and arrows of their suspicions. Catrian has grudgingly agreed to train him in the use of his magic, but he senses that she is holding back. The mistrust that hovers between them has not abated, nor has the awareness of the simmering desires that they dare not act upon should Gralyre be revealed as Doaphin’s spy. A simple kiss could destroy the world.

Having been content to merely oppress and decimate mankind for generations, Doaphin, the Usurper, is now moving to exterminate the world of Man. The tyrant is willing to kill every human to reach but one.

Catrian, the Rebel Sorceress, has looked into the future and all she sees is Death and Blood. Doaphin will begin the final purge in the Spring. It is to be an extinction. The Rebels scramble to form a battle plan but they haven’t the strength of numbers to stand and fight. What are they to do? How can they save mankind?

Commander Boris Kinsel is troubled by Gralyre’s growing attachment to the Sorceress Catrian. She cannot afford distractions. She must remain committed to the Rebel cause! He hatches a scheme to remove the man once and for all time. A quest that will claim Gralyre’s life.
